Who it fits

Key specs explained for NewAge White Bold

24-Gauge Steel

This gauge indicates the thickness of the steel used in the cabinet construction. Thinner gauges are more prone to denting, while 24-gauge offers a balance of rigidity and weight. You get sturdy walls that resist impact from heavy tools without adding excessive mass to the structure. This thickness is common in mid-range garage storage, providing better durability than 26-gauge options.

132" W x 18" D x 76.6" H

These dimensions describe the total footprint and height of the assembled 9-piece set. The 18-inch depth is standard for garage cabinets, allowing you to store larger items without protruding too far into the workspace. The 132-inch width spans a significant portion of a wall, maximizing vertical storage. The 76.6-inch height fits most residential garages, utilizing space above eye level for infrequently used items.

446 pounds

The total weight of the entire 9-piece system is 446 pounds. This substantial mass contributes to stability, reducing wobble when drawers are opened or when leaning against the cabinets. It also means you will need assistance for installation and positioning. The weight ensures the units stay planted on the floor, which is critical for safety when storing heavy equipment like power tools or automotive parts.

Fully Welded Steel

The cabinets are constructed using fully welded joints rather than just screwed or riveted connections. This method creates a continuous metal structure that is significantly stronger and more rigid. You benefit from cabinets that do not flex or sag over time, even when loaded to capacity. This construction style is typical of heavy-duty industrial storage, offering superior longevity compared to bolt-together alternatives found in lighter consumer-grade sets.

Design and Build Quality

The listing specifies 24-gauge steel construction with fully welded joints. This method creates rigid walls that resist denting better than bolted assemblies. The set weighs 446 pounds, indicating substantial mass that helps keep the unit stable during use. You get a complete layout including three wall cabinets, two 30-inch lockers, two base cabinets, and a rolling tool drawer. The total footprint spans 132 inches in length and 76.6 inches in height, with a consistent 18-inch depth. This size suits standard garage layouts while providing ample vertical storage.

Each component serves a specific function. The lockers include a closet rod for hanging items, while the rolling cabinet features 4-inch anti-tip locking casters for safe movement. Height-adjustable legs on fixed cabinets accommodate uneven floors, ensuring stability. All fixed cabinets must be secured to a wall for safety, as noted in the data. The finish is a durable powder-coat paint in white, which protects against scratches and rust. A stainless steel worktop tops the base cabinets, offering a hard-wearing surface for projects. This design prioritizes longevity and secure storage for heavy tools.

Setup and everyday use guide

The NewAge White Bold Series ships as a complete 9-piece set that requires assembly. You install three wall cabinets, two lockers, two base cabinets, a rolling tool drawer, and a stainless steel worktop. The cabinets are fully welded, which means the structural integrity is established at the factory. You do not need to weld anything yourself. The set weighs 446 pounds, so you need help moving the pieces into position.

Installation begins with leveling. The fixed cabinets feature height-adjustable legs. You use these to accommodate uneven garage floors. Once leveled, you must secure all fixed cabinets to the wall. This step is critical for safety. The total width of the system is 132 inches, so you need adequate wall space. The depth is 18 inches, which fits standard garage layouts.

Daily use involves organizing tools and gear. The lockers include a closet rod for hanging items. You can store heavy items in the lockers and base cabinets, which each support up to 600 pounds. The wall cabinets hold up to 100 pounds. The rolling tool drawer cabinet supports 600 pounds and moves on 4-inch anti-tip locking casters. You can roll this unit to your workbench for easy access. The powder-coat finish resists scratches and rust, handling typical garage conditions. The entire system is fully lockable, keeping your tools secure when you are not using them.

Before You Buy This Set

You need to verify your garage floor is level before installation. The fixed cabinets include height-adjustable legs, but significant slopes may require custom shimming to ensure proper alignment. You must also secure all fixed units to wall studs for safety, as the listing mandates this step to prevent tipping. Keep in mind that the 18-inch depth is standard, so check that your tools fit comfortably inside the drawers and shelves. The stainless steel worktop resists rust, but you should still wipe it down after using harsh chemicals to maintain its finish. This set occupies 132 inches of linear space, so measure your wall carefully. It fits well alongside other heavy-duty steel systems, offering a cohesive look if you choose matching colors. The rolling cabinet allows you to move tools easily, but ensure you have enough clearance to roll it out from the wall. Regularly check the locking mechanisms on the casters to keep them functioning smoothly.

Check before you buy

• Measure your wall space for the 132-inch total width.
• Confirm you can anchor fixed cabinets to wall studs.
• Check floor levelness for the height-adjustable legs.
• Ensure tool dimensions fit the 18-inch cabinet depth.
